On sunday 10 July 22, 28 skydivers took off from Beccles Airfield and landed onto Kessingland Beach, on the stunning Suffolk coast. The demo was organised by the Wings Parachute Display Team https://www.facebook.com/wingsparachutedisplayteam and CI Mark King. It was quite a spectacle for the locals and holiday makers at the seaside that day with flags, smoke and 28 parachutes in the sky. We would like to say a massive thanks to the East Suffolk Council for granting permission and the RNLI for being on standby in case anyone landed off (in the sea!). We hope this can become a yearly event. Well done and thank you to all involved in making it happen.
