UK Parachute Services (UKPS) Limited have a total of 4 x C208 Cessna Caravan aircraft available for lease, all of which are suitable for parachuting.

Approved Training Organisation (ATO) & Rating Renewal / Revalidation

Registered Training Facility

UKPS work alongside Flight Training Limited UK FTO – GBR.ATO.0506 to carry out training courses and examinations for those pilots wishing to obtain ratings on:

C208 Cessna Caravan – Single Engine Turbine (SET)

The course requirements are:

Minimum of 5 hours of flight training on the aircraft

Ground School minimum of 8 hours

Ground exam

Flight test

The SET class rating will be conducted over a period of 3 – 5 days depending on previous flying experience, currency and weather conditions.

The SET class rating course is usually undertaken as one continuous course, but it can be taken in lesson modules.

Pre-entry requirements

Be at least 17 years of age;
Be in possession of a Class One (or Two) medical certificate before training commences
Hold at least an EASA PPL(A) or validated ICAO licence.
500 Hours

We also carry out initial Skill Tests, Renewals and Revalidations on DHC-6 Twin Otters

UKPS has experienced, highly skilled and enthusiastic staff able to meet all kinds of skydiving and photographic challenges.

We can undertake:

Skydiving and parachuting stunts
Aerial photography/filming
Air to air filming

We have highly skilled skydivers and photographers on hand at Sibson airfield as well as UK and worldwide contacts so, whatever your requirements, please get in touch to discuss.

He was a true pro and made me feel calm when to be honest I was very  nervous at 13000 ft, but he made me feel at ease and made the experience so much more enjoyable. I wasn’t worried just very excited! The staff were fantastic and the atmosphere was brilliant with loads of jumpers... read more and spectators. Very well organised and made you feel at ease and safe. Cafe and toilets on site (Sibson Aerodrome) lots of parking. I am definitely doing it again, it’s the most surreal feeling coming down!
