The Suffolk Foundation

Connecting people who care with causes that matter - The Suffolk Foundation is an independent charitable trust whose purpose is to improve the quality of life for the people of Suffolk. Nairobi Hospice

Nairobi Hospice is a registered charitable non–profit making organization that was established in 1988 and officially opened in February 1990. It was the first of its kind in East Africa. Nairobi Hospice cares for and supports patients and families facing life limiting illnesses especially cancer, HIV&AIDS. Age UK Norfolk

Age UK Norfolk is a local independent charity providing a wide range of services for older people and their carers. Leeway

Leeway is a local charity, working in Norfolk and Suffolk, supporting adults, children and young people, who are experiencing domestic abuse. Leeway’s range of specialist services, support over 4,000 clients every year and include a telephone helpline, safe refuge accommodation and outreach support in the community. YMCA Norfolk delivers effective frontline services to young people at their point of need and each night accommodates up to 231 vulnerable young people across the county, many of whom are often at significant risk of exploitation and harm. Rainbow Trust Childrens Charity

‘Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides practical and emotional support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. We support 1,000 families each year. Rainbow Trust's Family Support Workers join the family in their own home and are there to provide whatever practical support is needed. They may attend hospital appointments with parents, sit by the bedside of the sick child to give parents a break and take worried siblings out for the day. Myeloma UK

Myeloma, also known as multiple myeloma, is an increasingly common type of bone marrow cancer arising from abnormal plasma cells, which are normally found in the bone marrow causing severe pain, bone fractures, infections and organ failure. It is one of the fastest growing cancers and although there are effective treatments, there is currently no cure, the average life expectancy being between three to five years from diagnosis. Wings of Hope

Wings of Hope currently supports two schools - one in India and the other in Malawi, Africa. Education in these schools is a long-term commitment and is intended to be of lasting benefit to the students. As such, the Wings of Hope schemes provide free education and support for a period of 7-10 years, ensuring a secure development base for all the children we support. Flying Scholarship for the Disabled

Although the primary aim of the scheme is to give disabled people the opportunity to realise their full potential through the pleasure, the thrill and freedom of flying, a few students complete sufficient flying to qualify for a Private Pilots Licence. Disability Direct is a support service for disabled & older people as well as carers in Derby & Derbyshire totally reliant upon donations, grants and local authority contracts. We are a service user led group having supported over 40,000 disabled people since 1993

RoSA is a registered charity uniquely providing specialist confidential counselling and support for the past 15 years for men, women and young people from the age of 13 years who have experienced Rape or Sexual Abuse, whether it is recent, ongoing or historical childhood sexual abuse. St Elizabeth Hospice we care for patients in East Suffolk with active, progressive and advanced illness, for whom the focus of care is quality of life. Focus 12
